Is Remindr free to use?
Yes. Remindr is completely free to download and use. All core features — unlimited reminders, unlimited categories, recurring schedules, and calendar view — are free with no credit card, no subscription, and no premium tier. There is no trial period that expires.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Remindr never asks for a credit card, payment details, or billing information at any point.
How do I create a reminder?
Open the app and tap the "+" button on the home screen. Fill in the title, select a frequency (once, daily, weekly, monthly, or custom), choose a date and time, and optionally assign a category. Tap "Save" and your reminder is set.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
This is almost always Android battery optimisation stopping the app in the background. First, enable notifications for Remindr in Settings > Apps > Remindr > Notifications. Then set battery usage to Unrestricted under Settings > Apps > Remindr > Battery. Finally, allow "Alarms & reminders" under Special app access. On Xiaomi/MIUI also enable Autostart and lock the app in Recents; on Samsung remove Remindr from "Sleeping apps" under Battery > Background usage limits; on OnePlus and Oppo set Battery optimisation to "Don't optimise".
Can I set recurring reminders?
Yes. Remindr supports one-time, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, weekday-only, weekend-only, and custom interval schedules. You can also set several times per day, which is useful for medication taken more than once daily.
How do I organize my reminders?
You can create unlimited custom categories to organize your reminders — for example "Medication", "Bills", "Subscriptions", or "Personal". Assign reminders to categories when creating or editing them, and each category can have its own colour and icon.
Is my data synced across devices?
Yes. Your reminders are stored securely on our servers and synced when you log in. If you switch to a new device, simply log in with your account to access all your reminders.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app by going to Profile > Delete Account, or visit our Account Deletion page. This action is permanent and all your data will be erased. There is no charge to delete your account.
